Web Design for Holiday Lets, Pubs & Hotels

Websites That Fill Beds, Tables and Rooms.

From coastal cottages and cabin hideaways to Victorian hotels and proper village pubs, hospitality is our home turf. We’ve built sites and brands for Coast & Country Stays, Dockleaf Cottage, The Hiddle Hut, The Beaumont and The County Hotel — and our tourism work was recognised at the 2024 Northeast Tourism Awards.

We know what makes a guest stop scrolling and hit ‘book now’ — and we’ll happily show you over a cuppa.

TWDA

Who we work with

Holiday lets, cottages and cabins (ask the owners of Dockleaf Cottage or the Hiddle Hut), pubs and restaurants that need menus guests can actually read on a phone, hotels and B&Bs from boutique to grand, and campsites, glamping and bunkhouses across Northumberland.

For Woodenstar Cottages we’ve worked together from start-up to multi-property business — branding, website, booking and payment integration — one partner, every property, with a consistent brand throughout. Need branding to match across every property? Our logo design and branding service builds an identity that fits, and business photography captures each space at its best.

TWDA is also VAT registered so all prices are subject to vat being added.

Built for direct bookings, not just for looks

Every booking through Airbnb, Booking.com or Sykes hands over roughly 15–25% in commission. Say your cottage takes £30,000 a year through the big platforms — that’s up to £6,000 gone before you’ve changed a single bedsheet.

A website of your own, with a booking calendar guests trust, shifts bookings direct and pays for itself season after season. We integrate the systems you already use — SuperControl, Bookalet and friends — so your diary, payments and pricing stay in sync. Want more direct bookings landing on that calendar? Our Facebook and Instagram ads put your property in front of guests before they even open Airbnb.

Website Only

A fast, mobile-first website with your booking system integrated — designed to turn lookers into bookers. You supply the photos; we make them sing.

From £1450

Website, Photography & Drone

The full works: website, professional photography, drone and video. Nothing sells a stay like aerial footage of your spot — and nothing fills tables like food photography done properly.

One brand, every channel

Most of our hospitality work goes beyond the website: logo, photography, video, drone, social and Meta advertising — built together, so the brand guests see on Instagram matches the one above the door.

For The Beaumont Hotel we’ve handled branding, logo and Meta campaigns; for The County Hotel, web design and photography. One partner, one consistent brand.

What it costs

Design from £40 per hour, with fixed quotes once we know the spec. Booking system integration is quoted per job — tell us what you use and we’ll take a look.

Aiming to be live before the season starts? Tell us your deadline and we’ll work backwards from it.

FAQ

Can you connect our booking system?

Yes — we work with SuperControl, Bookalet and most of the major booking systems, connecting calendars, payments and pricing so everything stays in sync. Not sure what you need? We’ll recommend one to fit the size of your operation.

Probably, at least to start — the smartest holiday lets use both. The aim is to shift a growing share of bookings to your own website, where you keep the full amount. Owners who get this right can substantially reduce their reliance on the platforms within a couple of seasons.

Most holiday let and pub websites take four to six weeks from brief to launch, depending on content and photography. Booking integration adds a little testing time — worth doing properly. Tell us your season dates and we’ll plan around them.

We believe that great work comes from a great partnership. To keep things stress-free and straightforward, we follow a simple four-step process that ensures your vision is brought to life exactly how you imagined it—with zero guesswork.

Step 1:
The Brew & The Brief

Every project starts with a proper conversation.

We sit down to understand your goals, your audience, and exactly what success looks like for your business.

Step 2:
The Blueprint

No guesswork here.

We map out a clear plan, from the site architecture to the visual style, ensuring every element is designed to solve your specific challenges.

Step 3:
The Build & Creative Flair

Our studio gets to work crafting your site, brand, or content.

We keep you in the loop throughout, ensuring the final result feels 100% like you.

Step 4:
The Launch & Beyond

We don’t just ‘hand over the keys.’

We launch your project, provide the training you need to feel confident, and stay on hand for ongoing support.
