Can we meet in person?
Yes, and we’d rather. We’re at The Granary, Carterway Heads — about ten minutes from Consett — so you can come to us, or we’ll come to you and sit at the kitchen table with a notepad. Projects tend to go better when we’ve seen the business and met the person running it, rather than working entirely off email.
I'm a sole trader — is a proper website worth it for me?
Often, but not always, and we’ll tell you which. If your work comes entirely from repeat customers and word of mouth, a modest site that loads fast and makes you easy to contact may be all you need. If somebody is choosing between you and two others, the site is frequently what decides it. We’d rather sell you the right small thing than the wrong big one.
Will my website show up on Google for Consett searches?
That’s the aim, and we build for it from the start — proper page titles, real local content, and a Google Business Profile that matches your site. What we won’t do is promise you the top spot, because nobody honestly can. What we will do is tell you where you actually stand and what would move it.
Can you look after the site once it's built?
Yes. We do ongoing maintenance — updates, backups, security and the occasional “can you just change this” — and plenty of clients keep us on for exactly that. If you’d rather run it yourself, we’ll train you and hand over the keys. Either way you’re not locked in.
What if I already have a website that's just tired?
Then a rebuild is often quicker and cheaper than you’re expecting, because the hard thinking about what your business does is already done. Send us the address and we’ll tell you honestly whether it needs replacing or whether it just needs a tidy-up and some decent photography.
