Do you work with Hexham holiday lets and B&Bs?
Yes — it’s a big part of what we do. The County Hotel, the Beaumont and the Coach and Horses are all ours, along with Dockleaf Cottage in Corbridge, Wooden Star Cottages and Hadrian’s Wall Campsite. We know how the season works round here, and that the real job of the site is to win the direct booking rather than send someone off to a listing site that takes a cut.
Can you connect my website to my booking system?
Yes. We’ve integrated SuperControl properly — availability and pricing pulled into pages that still look like your site, rather than dumping guests onto a generic booking page that looks nothing like the rest of it. We’ve also connected sites to third-party diaries and payment systems, and added new properties as clients have grown. Tell us what system you’re on and we’ll give you an honest answer on whether it’ll behave.
Am I eligible for the North of Tyne Business Support Fund?
Quite possibly. Hexham is in Northumberland, which sits inside the North of Tyne area, so you clear the geographic test that rules a lot of businesses out. Beyond that it comes down to your size, sector and trading history, and the criteria do change. We’re a registered provider for NBSL’s North of Tyne Business Support Fund, so the quickest route is to ask us — we’ll check where the scheme currently stands and, if you qualify, put the paperwork together with you rather than leaving you to work out what a tender is meant to look like.
How long does a new website take?
Two to three weeks is typical, from the first proper conversation to going live. A straight refresh can be quicker; a bigger shop with a lot of products takes longer. The honest answer is that what sets the pace is almost always content — photos, words, prices — rather than the build itself. If you have that ready we can move quickly. If you haven’t, we’ll help, and we’ll tell you up front what that does to the timeline.
Do I need to write all the content myself?
No. Some clients hand us a rough idea and let us write it; others write it themselves and have us tidy it up. Either is fine. We do the photography and drone work in-house too, so you’re not left hunting for stock images of somebody else’s hotel. If you’d rather hand the whole lot over, say so at the start and we’ll price it in.
