Langley Tracks: A Web Design Case Study & Visitor's Guide

At TWDA, we love working with passionate local businesses that bring something special to our corner of the world. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with William and Eleanor to launch the brand-new website for Langley Tracks, a beautifully reimagined destination in the heart of the Tyne Valley.

Formerly the much-loved Garden Station, Langley Tracks has been reborn as a vibrant hub for creativity, wellness, and celebration. This post is not only a showcase of our recent web design project but also your official guide to discovering this incredible local gem.

The Project: Building a Digital Home for Langley Tracks

When William and Eleanor took over this historic Victorian railway station, they had a clear vision: to create a welcoming space where people could gather, create, and unwind. Our mission was to translate that vision into a beautiful, user-friendly website that could introduce their brand to the world and drive bookings.

The key goals for the website were:

Tell a Story: Capture the unique history and atmosphere of the venue.
Showcase the Offerings: Clearly present the three core experiences: pottery, the woodland sauna, and event hire.
Make Booking Easy: Provide clear information and pathways for users to make enquiries and book sessions.

# Get Creative: Pottery Classes and Workshops

The old station waiting room is now a fully equipped pottery studio. Guided by experienced potter Eleanor, these classes are perfect for all skill levels and offer a chance to create something truly unique.

# Relax and Recharge: The Woodland Sauna

A true highlight is the traditional barrel sauna tucked away in the woodland. Complemented by an invigorating cold plunge pool, it’s the perfect private retreat to disconnect and rejuvenate.

# Events, Music, and More

Langley Tracks continues its legacy as a place of gathering. The venue hosts a calendar of events, from live music to pizza nights, and is available for private hire for weddings, parties, and more.

We have been working with TWDA for a number of years, initially as a start up, when Terry worked in partnership with us to design the brand and logo for our holiday property business. He then built our website and taught me how to manage certain elements myself. He was always on hand, however, to help when I couldn't understand what to do or to undo a mistake! He was able to to help connect our website to third party diaries and payment systems to ensure everything worked.

As our business has expanded TWDA have been able to work with us to add further properties and web pages, and more recently more build specific branding and logos we have needed. A very talented, responsive and local company that we are so glad we found!
